International Medical Corps (IMC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) - in support of National Ministries of Health and in collaboration with national societies and other civil society organisations - have decades of experience in addressing the challenges of healthcare provision in fragile and conflict affected states. Both organisations are now actively integrating climate risks and responses into their humanitarian health programming. The experiences gained from these activities have been translated into widely used guidance and policy documents by IFRC, and into a Call for Action to the humanitarian and health communities by IMC.
