Transforming Humanitarian Assistance In The Face Of Climate Crises
In the face of rising climate impacts and growing humanitarian needs, USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance is hosting this session, Transforming Humanitarian Assistance in the Face of Climate Crises, to highlight how humanitarian systems are transforming to better adapt to climate crises and more effectively support the communities in humanitarian settings, including contexts affected by fragility, conflict and violence. The session will bring together representatives from a diverse range of organizations to discuss the urgent needs of communities and reinforce the importance of humanitarian assistance in the context of a comprehensive approach to disaster management and climate resilience and adaptation.
