The primary event of Relief, Recovery, and Peace Day will launch COP28 Climate, Relief, Recovery and Peace Declaration designed by a wide spectrum of climate, development, humanitarian, and peace building actors to increase and improve climate action and resources for countries threatened or affected by fragility or conflict, or facing severe humanitarian needs. As climate action is possible and can offer avenues for sustainable development, conflict prevention and peace building, support hardly reaches people in these areas. Governments, organizations, and financial institutions will unite around the Declaration, ensuring equitable access to climate action, leaving no one behind.
