As our global population continues to become more urbanized so does the importance of human access to authentic nature. This event will explore insights provided by both science and traditional indigenous knowledge on the roles of nature in sustaining the vitality, health and spirit of urban environments. It will delve into how this knowledge can be best used in greening our cities. Highlighted during the event will be Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, an internationally recognized protected area which is situated in the middle of Dubai, one of the most urbanized cities on the planet.
